Albany Care is a Registered provider of services for older people, those suffering dementia, people with physical disabilities or sensory impairment, children and families and adults with specialist needs including learning difficulties and mental health issues.

One of our principal aims in everything we do is to avoid the need for hospital admission or residential care and we are geared to encourage everyone to live life to the full by maintaining, regaining, retaining or improving independence with a person centred approach to care.

Albany Care has a comprehensive range of flexible home support packages which can be tailored to the needs of the service user and/or the purchaser.

Services include, home care, personal care, domestic tasks, shopping, collecting pensions, assistance with laundry, housework, ironing, lighting fires, assisting with the household pets and offering companionship to people with more complex needs.

The Company can provide cars and drivers to take people to appointments, visit relatives, assist with holidays or 101 other reasons.

Respite Care at Home

A comprehensive service for the Elderly, vulnerable Adults and Children with Disabilities

Albany Care is able to provide a virtual emergency service in the North East, where a carer can ring our 24 Hour Operation Centre (01388) 458888, to ask for an appropriate worker to attend to either sit for a few hours, or stay overnight to allow them to go out with friends, deal with a family crisis, or just have time out to recharge their batteries.

We can provide a longer term service anywhere in the UK, where our mobile carers could come and live in your home to care for a relative, while other family members go away on holiday or to some other event. Albany Care aims to match our workers to your needs. Living-in with a relative suffering dementia for example, means the person is not removed from the environment in which they feel safe and while Albany Care is in your home, we’ll look after your house, walk the dog, feed the cat and water your garden as well.

The CARES Group have nearly 20 years experience of having people on the road within minutes in their respective regions, we are simply extending those services to every client group in the UK.

Outreach and Crisis Outreach Services

The CARES Group with a provision of services to every sector of social care is geared to putting together packages of flexible care to support individuals or whole families with specific needs, while preserving their independence and their quality of life.

Albany Care can deliver this service in the family home or in a community setting. Outreach can mean a form of respite for parents and carers in particular circumstances, where parents or carers are unwell or unable to offer normal levels of care and support.
